SVGLane Terms of Service

The terms governing access to and use of SVGLane.

Last updated: 2026-07-02

1. Acceptance of These Terms

By accessing or using SVGLane, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

These terms apply to the website, workspace, editor, optimization tools, AI-assisted features, export workflows, billing flows, and any related services we provide under the SVGLane product.

2. Description of the Service

SVGLane is a software service for editing, previewing, optimizing, transforming, exporting, and managing SVG assets. Certain features may depend on account status, billing status, available credits, enabled providers, browser capability, or file complexity limits.

We may add, modify, suspend, or remove features at any time. We will try to provide reasonable notice for material changes when practical.

3. Accounts and Access

You are responsible for:

  • keeping your login credentials secure;
  • all activity that occurs under your account;
  • ensuring the information you provide is accurate and up to date.

If you believe your account has been accessed without authorization, contact us promptly.

4. Your Content and Responsibilities

You are responsible for the SVG files, prompts, text, metadata, and other content you create, upload, import, edit, or export through SVGLane.

You must have the rights necessary to use that content. You agree not to use SVGLane to upload, process, generate, export, or distribute content that:

  • infringes intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights;
  • is unlawful, deceptive, abusive, or harmful;
  • contains malware, exploit code, or other malicious payloads;
  • is intended to interfere with the service or other users.

We do not claim ownership of your input content. However, you grant us the limited rights necessary to host, process, transmit, transform, store, and display that content solely to operate the service.

5. AI-Assisted Features

Some SVGLane features may send selected content to AI providers when you explicitly trigger those actions. AI output can be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for production use without review.

You remain responsible for reviewing and validating any AI-generated or AI-modified output before using it in your product, design system, repository, or commercial deliverables.

Workspace AI is available only to signed-in users and may be subject to credit usage rules, token accounting, per-user rate limits, queueing, moderation review, and temporary refusal when platform safeguards are triggered.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • bypass plan, credit, rate, or usage limits;
  • probe, scan, or attack our systems;
  • scrape or automate the service in a way that harms stability or fair use;
  • resell, mirror, or white-label the service without authorization;
  • use the service to create or distribute unlawful or harmful material.

We may slow, queue, refuse, or suspend requests that appear abusive, unstable, automated beyond allowed limits, or harmful to other users or providers.

Additional AI content rules are described in our Acceptable Use Policy. AI generation requests may be reviewed by a moderation provider before they are sent to the generation model.

7. Billing, Plans, and Credits

Paid features may be offered on a subscription, one-time, credit-based, or custom commercial basis.

By purchasing a paid plan or credits, you authorize the selected payment provider to charge the applicable fees, taxes, and renewals unless canceled in accordance with the product flow or separate order terms.

Unless otherwise stated:

  • subscriptions renew automatically;
  • upgrades, downgrades, and cancellations may take effect immediately or at the next billing cycle depending on the product flow;
  • subscriptions can be canceled from the billing settings page, currently /settings/billing, and access normally continues until the end of the current billing period unless the product flow states otherwise;
  • credits, trials, promotional balances, and feature entitlements may have separate rules, expiration dates, or usage conditions;
  • AI Top-up is a one-time credit purchase and does not change your subscription plan;
  • refunds are not guaranteed and are handled according to the specific offer, local law, payment provider terms, and whether the digital service or credits have already been delivered or consumed.

Where a platform-side AI request fails before successful completion, we may reverse or avoid the corresponding credit charge according to the product flow.

Digital services, subscription access, and AI credits may be delivered immediately after purchase. If applicable law gives you a withdrawal or cancellation right for digital content, that right may be limited once delivery begins with your consent or once credits are consumed.

Additional refund, cancellation, and chargeback details are described in our Refund Policy.

8. Availability and Service Changes

We aim to keep SVGLane available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service, permanent feature availability, or error-free operation.

We may impose limits related to file size, model usage, export volume, optimization depth, or provider availability to protect platform stability and cost control.

Non-essential scripts or third-party widgets may also depend on cookie consent, browser support, or regional compliance requirements.

9. Intellectual Property

SVGLane, including the product interface, branding, code we provide, and related materials, is protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the rights expressly granted in these Terms, we reserve all rights in the service.

10. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if:

  • you violate these Terms;
  • your use creates legal, financial, or operational risk;
  • we are required to do so by law;
  • payment obligations remain unpaid.

You may stop using the service at any time. Termination does not automatically remove obligations that arose before termination.

11. Disclaimers

SVGLane is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted availability.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunity arising from or related to the service.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our aggregate liability will be limited to the amount you paid us for SVGLane during the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we may update the date above and, where appropriate, provide notice through the service.

Your continued use of SVGLane after the revised Terms become effective means you accept the updated Terms.

14. Contact

If you have questions about these Terms, please contact us at support@svglane.com. We aim to respond to support requests within 3 business days.
